This textured feed is highly versatile and suitable for horses that are at different stages in life. With protein level at 13% and fat at 8%, Fortify® is ideal for any equine athlete.This textured feed has added fat content and Vitamin E for horses in training or for horses that need to gain weight. Its high amount of protein is suitable for the equine athlete and growing horse.
Whole oats, cracked corn, soybean meal, cane molasses, soybean oil, wheat middlings, maize distillers dried grains, dehydrated alfalfa meal, soybean hulls, defluorinated phosphate, calcium carbonate, salt, L-lysine, magnesium oxide, zinc amino acid chelate, iron amino acid chelate, ferrous sulfate, manganese sulfate, manganese amino acid chelate, copper sulfate, copper amino acid chelate, ethylenediamine dihydriodide, cobalt sulfate, sodium selenite, vitamin A supplement, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, menadione sodium bisulfite complex, riboflavin supplement, calcium pantothenate, choline chloride, niacin supplement, vitamin B12 supplement, biotin, folic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamine mononitrate, dried bacillus subtilis PB6, natural and artificial flavors.
Feed Fortify® as a grain concentrate to horses at the rate of 0.5 to 1.0 lbs. per 100 lbs. of body weight daily. It is recommended to feed equal amounts at the AM and PM feedings. Provide a minimum of 1% of body weight per day in good quality hay or pasture. Allow horses to adjust to grain feeding before feeding high rates.
All Excel Equine® horse feeds should be fed with liberal quantities of good quality hay and/or pasture and free choice salt. Provide clean, fresh water at all times. Store feed in a clean, dry place protected from insects and rodents. Never feed moldy or insect infested feed to horses as it may cause illness, digestive upset or death.
